Directions to Casa de Las Flores from Malaga Airport:

Exit the airport terminal and continue until you come to a roundabout. Follow signs to N340 Malaga. Keep in the left lane and go over a flyover following the signs for Malaga/Nerja/Motril.

The road bears round back on itself and you filter into a dual carriageway. The road passes over a river or riverbed (depending on the season), and you pass a wooded area on your right.

You pass over the N340 and the road turns around to the right, where you join the E15/N340 Motril. Exit also signed for Almeria/Cordoba. Be careful here as it is easy to end up in Malaga centre!

This is Junction 235 of the Malaga ring road. You need to continue on this road until Junction 272. The numbers jump - they are not really an indication of the number of junctions, - but they are a reference to kilometres from some distant point. Therefore you are travelling 37 kilometres along this motorway. You pass through a number of tunnels so familiarise yourself with the light switch in your hire car. It can be very busy as you pass around Malaga, but quietens down after that.

Exit 272 is signed for Velez Malaga/Torre Del Mar/La Viñuela. At the roundabout at the bottom go left (i.e. take the 3rd exit) for Velez Malaga/La Viñuela. (You will see a large shopping centre to the right of the roundabout called El Ingenio where you can get just about everything).

You are on the A356 (previously numbered A335), which by-passes the town of Velez Malaga. At the next roundabout go straight on - signed A356 Casabermeja.

At 2nd roundabout go straight on - signed La Viñuela A402/A356 Casabermeja. The road winds its way steadily upward for about 5 miles, until you see Lake Viñuela.

Take the turn off to the right which is signed for La Viñuela - this will take you into the village. Drive past the Medical Centre, downhill until you see the town hall in front of you on the right hand side (a modern building signed "Ayuntamiento"). Casa de las Flores is on the right hand side, just before the town hall.
